Compulsory affiliation of registered societies to a Co-operative Federation. - (1) The State Government may, by general or special order, direct that all or any registered societies situated within a specified area shall be affiliated to a Co-operative Federation in such manner and on such conditions as the State Government may direct. (2) The State Government may, by general or special order, regulate, from time to time, the constitution and functions of any Co-operative Federation in respect of which an order of compulsory affiliation may have been passed under sub-section (1).
