Certain Offences to be cognizable :- Notwithstanding anything contained in the code of Criminal Procedure 1973, an offence under clause (i) or clause (ii) of sub-section (1) and clause (iii) of sub-section 2 of section 36 shall be deemed to be a cognizable offence within the meaning of that code.
