Exgratia grant to a member of Fund:- The Trustee Committee on an application made to it by a member of the Fund , and after being satisfied about the genuineness of the claim, may allow ex-gratia grant to such member from the Fund involving major surgical operation or he is suffering from tuberculosis, leprosy, paralysis, cancer, or from such other serious disease or disability; provided that such payment shall not exceed fifty thousand rupees and shall be subject to the availability of money in the Fund. 12
