(1) The Executive Engineer shall, after taking possession of the land acquired under section 34, take steps for implementation of the scheme. (2) Any scheme constructed under sub-section (1) shall be the property of the Government. (3) Unless ordered by the Government to the contrary, any extension, alteration or re-alignment of water channels at the instance of any owner or occupier shall be done at the cost of such owner or occupier.
