Members, etc., to be public servants.— Every member of Rent Authority, Rent Court and Rent Tribunal appointed under this Act shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 2 (28) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (no. 45 of 2023).
