(1) The size and shape of every reconstituted plot shall be so determined as to render it, so far as may be, suitable for building purposes. (2) In order to render original plots more suitable for building purposes, the scheme may contain proposals–– (a) to form a reconstituted plot by the alteration of the boundaries of an original plot ; (b) to provide, with the consent of the owners, that two or more original plots, each of which is held in ownership in severalty or in joint ownership, shall thereafter, with or without alteration of boundaries, be held in ownership, in common as reconstituted plot ; (c) to allot a plot to any owner dispossessed of land in furtherance of the scheme ; and (d) to transfer the ownership of a plot from one person to another.
