(1) The authorities of the University may make regulations consistent with this Act and the Statutes for— (i) laying down the procedure for their meetings and the number of members required to form the quorum ; (ii) providing for matters which by this Act and the Statutes are to be regulated by Regulations ; (iii) providing for any other matter solely concerning the authority and not provided for by this Act and the Statutes. (2) An Academic Council may subject to the provisions of the statutes make regulations providing for courses of studies, system of examination, academic calendar and award of degrees and diplomas of the University. (3) The regulation made by any authority of the University except the University Council shall be subject to such direction as the Board may, from time to time, give in this behalf.
