Power to make rules.

(1) The Government may, by notification in the * [Government Gazette], make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely : (a) the travelling and daily allowances admissible to 1 [Leader of the Opposition] under section 5 ; (b) the medical treatment admissible to 1 [Leader of the Opposition] and the members of his family under section 6 ; (c) the telephone and secretarial facilities admissible to 1 [Leader of the Opposition] and the conditions subject to which he shall be entitled to conveyance allowances under section 8 ; 2 (3) Omitted.
