Section 9

Appeal.

(1) Any person aggrieved by an order of the Registering Authority under section 6 or section 7 may appeal to the Appellate Authority in the prescribed manner. (2) No appeal shall be entertained after the expiry of two months from the date of the order. (3) The Appellate Authority may, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the parties, pass such orders as it may deem just and proper. (4) An appeal under sub-section (1) shall be decided, as far as practicable, within a period of three months.
