The Government may, by notification in the 1 [Official Gazette], invest any revenue officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar, with powers to issue certificates in favour of members of the reserved categories : Provided that in respect of remote and inaccessible areas, the Government may invest any officer of the Revenue Department, not below the rank of NaibTehsildar, with such powers.
