(1) Any person who refuses to attend any hearing of the Board, or refuses to furnish any information or produces documents to the Board or furnish any information which is false in a material particular and which he knows to be false or does not believe to be true, or obstructs or impedes the Chairperson of the Board or any person acting under the directions of the Board, shall be liable to payment of a fine not exceeding Rs. 5,000.
