Section 8

Transfer of cases from one Sessions Judge to another.

(1) The Government may, at any stage of the proceedings before a Session Judge, transfer the case to another Sessions Judge. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code, when a case is transferred under sub-section (1) the Sessions Judge to whom the case is transferred shall not be bound to resummon or rehear the witnesses or any of them.
