(1) The Jammu and Kashmir Village Panchayat Act, 1958 is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done, any action taken, order or notification issued, rule or bye-laws made under the provisions of the aforesaid Act shall, in so far as the same are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be deemed to have been done, taken, issued or made under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
