The Government may, by order published in the 1 [Official Gazette], direct that any power exercisable by it 2 [x x x x] under the Act (not including the power to make rules under section 17), may also be exercised in such cases as may be specified in the order, by such officer of the Prescribed Authority, as may be specified therein.
