(1) This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Industrial Establishments (National and Festival) Holidays Act, 1974. (2) It extends to the 1 [whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir]. (3) It shall come into force on such 2 date as the Government may by notification in the 3 [Official Gazette] appoint.
