Power to make rules

Power to make rules.––(1) The Government may, by notification in the *[Government Gazette], and subject to the condition of previous publication, make rules to carry out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:–– (a) the form and the manner of making an application for a licence, the fee for such licence and renewal thereof ; the period for which the conditions subject to which and the form in which a licence may be granted under section 5 ;
