1 [38. Certain offences to be non-bailable and triable summarily.–– Notwithstanding anything contained in 2 [x x x x] the 3 [Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (2 of 1974)]— (i) the offences specified in clauses (b), (d) and (e) of 4 [section 48 and subsection (1) of section (50)] shall be non-bailable, and 5 [(ii) the offences specified in sections 48, 49, 50, 50-A, 50-B and 55 and subsection (1) of section 56 shall be triable summarily.]
