(1)This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Control of Building Operations Act, 1988. (2) It extends to the 1 [whole of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir]. 2 [(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the 3 [Official Gazette] appoint].
