Every member of Co-operative Society shall have one vote in the affairs of the Society : Provided that–– (i) in the case of an equality of votes the Chairman shall have an additional casting vote ; (ii) a nominal or associate member shall not have the right of vote ; (iii) where the Government is a member of a Co-operative Society each person nominated by the Government on the Committee of the Cooperative Society shall have one vote.
