Members, officers etc. to be public servants.—The Chairperson, members, officers and other employees of the Commission while acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act, shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (45 of 1860).
