Jurisdiction and admission privileges.- (1) No college in the State imparting education in health sciences shall, save with the consent of the University and the sanction of the Government, be associated with or seek admission to any privileges of any other university in India or abroad. (2) Any such privileges enjoyed from any other university before the commencement of this Act by any medical college or any institution of health sciences in the State, shall be deemed to be withdrawn with effect from such date, as may be notified by the Government. (3) All colleges and other educational institutions of health sciences in the State previously admitted to the privileges of or affiliated to any other university, or council of affiliating body shall be deemed to be admitted to the 10 THE ATAL MEDICAL AND RESEARCH UNIVERSITY, HIMACHAL PRADESH ACT, 2017 privileges, or affiliated to the University from the date of commencement of this Act.
