Powers and functions of the Senate.- Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Senate shall have the following powers and functions, namely,- (a) to review, from time to time, the broad policies and programmes of the University and to suggest measures for their improvement and development of University; 18 THE ATAL MEDICAL AND RESEARCH UNIVERSITY, HIMACHAL PRADESH ACT, 2017 (b) to advice the Chancellor in respect of any matter, which may be referred to it for advice; and (c) to perform such other duties and exercise such other functions, as may be assigned to it under this Act or the statutes or by the Chancellor.
