Subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules made there under, it shall be the duty of the Director:- (i) to carry out a survey of the regions; *(ii) to prepare an existing land use map indicating the natural hazard proneness of the area; and *(iii) to prepare a regional plan keeping in view the regulation for land use zoning for natural hazard prone area.
