Revision.- The revisional authority, to be appointed by the Government, may, either on its own motion or on an application made by an aggrieved party, call for the records of any case disposed of by an appellate authority, for the purpose of satisfying itself as to the correctness, legality or propriety of any order passed by appellate authority and may pass such order thereon as it may deem fit and such order shall be final: Provided that no such application for revision shall be entertained after the expiry of three months from the date of communication of the order passed by the appellate authority: Provided further that revisional authority on its own motion can call for the record of any case decided or pending before any authority and pass such order as it may deem fit: Provided further that no order under this section shall be made to the prejudice of a person unless he has had a reasonable opportunity of being heard either personally or through a counsel or by a duly authorised agent.
