Chapter not to apply to evacuee property.-(1) Nothing in this Chapter shall apply to evacuee property as defined in the Administration of Evacuee Property Act, 1950 (31 of 1950) 1[and the composite property as defined in the Evacuee Interest (Separation) Act, 1951, or the property vested in the, Central Government under section 12 of the Displaced Persons (Compensation and Rehabilitation) Act, 1954.] (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the provisions of this Chapter shall apply to- (a) a person who, after the appointed day, obtains right of occupancy from the Central Government under the Displaced Persons (Compensation and Rehabilitation) Act, 1954 (44 of 1954);
