Making amendment, repeal and operations of Regulations.— (1) The Authorities of the University may make Regulations consistent with the provisions of this Act and the Statutes in the manner prescribed for conduct of their own business and that of the Committees, if any, appointed by them, not provided by this Act or the Statutes. (2) The Authorities of the University may, from time to time, make new or additional Regulations or may amend or repeal the existing Regulations: Provided that the Authorities of the University shall not propose the draft of amendment of the Regulations affecting the status, powers, constitution of any existing Authority of the University until such Authority has been given an opportunity of expressing an opinion upon the proposal and any opinion so expressed shall be in writing and shall be considered by the Authorities of the University.
