Effects of establishment of the Cluster University.- On and from the date of commencement of this act,- (a) all properties, moveable and immoveable, belonging to the Himachal Pradesh University, in so far as jurisdiction of “the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cluster University, Mandi, THE SARDAR VALLABHBHAI PATEL CLUSTER UNIVERSITY, MANDI, 7 HIMACHAL PRADESH (ESTABLISHMENT AND REGULATION) ACT, 2018 Himachal Pradesh” is concerned, shall vest in the Cluster University; (b) all rights and liabilities of the Himachal Pradesh University, in so far as jurisdiction of the Cluster University is converned shall be transferred to the Cluster University; (c) the Vice-Chancellor of the Himachal Pradesh University shall be deemed to have been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of the Cluster University and shall hold office for a period of three months or till the time, the first Vice-Chancellor of the Cluster University is appointed under the provisions of this Act; and (d) the cluster colleges affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh University, shall stand automatically de-affiliated from the Himachal Pradesh University from the date of commencement of this Act and such colleges shall become the cluster colleges of “the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cluster University, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh”.
