Power of the Chancellor to annul proceedings or decisions of the University and its bodies.- Without prejudice to the foregoing provisions of this section, the Chancellor may, by order in writing, annul proceedings of the University or of its any authority or the decision of any officer of the University, which is not in conformity with this Act or the Statutes or the Ordinances made thereunder: Provided that before making such order, the Chancellor shall call upon the University, or as the case may, be its authority or the officer, to show cause why such an order should not be made and if any cause is shown within the period specified by him in this behalf, shall consider the same.
