Functions of the Boards.-The Board shall perform the following functions, namely:- (a) to advise the State Government on matters concerning the administration, management, conservation and use of public records; (b) to lay down guidelines for training of Archivists; (c) to give directions for acquisition of records from private custody; and (d) to deal with such other matters as may be prescribed.
