Appeal from orders passed under section 25 or section 31.- Any person who has made claim under section 25 or section 31, any Forest Officer or other person generally or specially empowered by the State Government in this behalf, may, within six months of the date of the order passed by the Forest Settlement Officer under section 25 or section 27 or section 31, present an appeal from such order to the prescribed authority.
