Inspection of para-clinical establishment.- (1) The Council or any authorized technical officer of the State Government, not below the rank of a Chief Medical Officer, subject to general or special order as may be made by the State Government, enter and inspect any premises which are used or for which the Council, or the officer of the State Government so authorized has reasonable cause to believe that these are being used for the purpose of para-clinical establishment. (2) If the Council or the officer authorized under sub-section (1) has any reason to believe that any article or class of articlesor any records are liable to be seized for the contravention of the provisions of this Act, he may seize any article or record which in his opinion is useful or relevant for initiating any proceeding under this Act and give receipt for articles or records so seized. (3) The provision of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (2 of 1974) relating to searches and seizures shall, as far as may be appropriate, apply to such every search or seizure made under this Act.
