Section 25

Withdrawal of recognition

Withdrawal of recognition.- (1) If it appears to the Council,- (a) that the courses of study and examination to be undergone in orthe proficiency required from candidates at any examination held by any University or paramedical institution do not conform to the standards prescribed by regulations by the Council; or (b) that the staff, equipments, accommodation, training and other facilities for instruction and training provided in such University or paramedical institution or in any college or other institution affiliated to thatUniversity do not conform to the standards prescribed by regulations by the Council, the council shall take action for the withdrawal of recognition. (2) Before withdrawal of recognition, the Council shall send a show cause notice to the paramedical institutionor University specifying the period within which the reply shall be submitted. (3) On receipt of the reply or where no reply is submitted within the period specifiedin the show cause notice then on expiry of that periodthe Council shall take decision in the matter.
