Bar for suit in absence of notice.- No suit shall lie against any Panchayat or any office bearer, officer or servant thereof or any person acting under the direction of any of the authorities, mentioned in this Act for anything done or purporting to be done under this Act unless a notice under section 80 of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908 (5 of 1908) has been duly served.
