Repeal and savings.- (1) The Punjab Nurses Registration Act,1932 (1 of 1932), as in force in the territories transferred to Himachal Pradesh under section 5 of the Punjab Re-organisation Act,1966 (31 of 1966), is hereby repealed: Provided that such repeal shall not effect,- (a) the previous operation of the Act so repealed or anything duly done or suffered thereunder; or (b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under the enactment so repealed; or (c) any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against the enactment so repealed; or THE HIMACHAL PRADESH NURSES REGISTRATION ACT, 1977 17 (d) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid; and any such investigation, legal proceeding, or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if this Act had not be passed. (2) Subject to the proviso to sub-section (1), anything done or any action taken (including any appointment or delegation made, notification, order, instruction or direction issued, rule or regulation framed, or form prescribed), in so far as it is not inconsistent with this Act, be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act and shall continue to be in force accordingly, unless and until superseded by any action taken under this Act. __________ THE SCHEDULE [See clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 3]
