Election to the Corporation.- (1) The superintendence, direction and control of the preparation of electoral rolls, delimitation of wards, reservation and allotment of seats by rotation for, and the conduct of all elections of the Corporation, shall be vested in the State Election Commission. (2) The Government as well as the Corporation shall, when so requested by the State Election Commission, make available to the Commission such staff 3[, material and monetary resources] as may be necessary for the discharge of the functions conferred on the State Election Commission by sub-section (1) . (3) The Commission shall frame its own rules and lay down its own procedure.
