Councillor and Corporation Officers and employees to be public servants.- 1[Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillor], the Commissioner and every Corporation Officer and other Corporation employee, shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (39 of 1860).
