Section 20

Finality of decision.- (1) Save as otherwise provided, an order of the prescribed authority on an election petition shall be final. (2) An election of a 1[XXXXXXXXXXX Councillor] not called in question in accordance with the foregoing provisions shall be deemed to be a good and valid election. (3) Any person aggrieved by the order of the prescribed authority may file an appeal to the 2[Financial Commissioner (Appeal) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh or such other officers, as may be authorised, by notification, by the State Government in consultation with the State Election Commission], within a period of thirty days from the date of the order and he shall hear and dispose of the appeal within a period of ninety days.
