Disposal of property.- With respect to the disposal of property belonging to the Corporation, the following provisions shall have effect, namely:- 1[(a) the Commissioner, with the prior approval of the Standing Committee constituted under sub-section (4) of section 40 of the Act, may dispose of, by sale, lease or otherwise, any movable or immovable properties belonging to the Corporation, by public auction, except such movable and immovable properties which is to be given on lease or otherwise, to the Government Departments, Boards or Corporations for public utility;] (b) the mode and condition precedent to the transfer of immovable property, shall be governed by regulations or bye- laws made by the Corporation; and (c) the Commissioner shall maintain a register giving therein the detail of the immovable properties and prepare annual statement indicating the changes, if any, in the said inventory, in such manner as may be prescribed by bye-laws and shall place the same before the Corporation for consideration at the end of the year.]
