Act came into force from 31st day of May, 2000 vide Notification No. EXN- F(11)-3/98, dated 29th May, 2000, published in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh, (Extra-ordinary), dated 29th May, .2000, p. 1466. 2 THE HIMACHAL PRADESH MOTOR SPIRIT (TAXATION OF SALES) REPEALING ACT, 2000 (d) any investigation, legal proceedings or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid; and any such investigation, legal proceedings or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if the said Act had not been repealed. ___________
