Assessment of compensation.- In assessing the amount of compensation to be paid under any section of this Act, other than sections 11, 13, 20, 37 and 44 the Collector shall proceed under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (1 of 1894), and the provisions of that Act regarding inquiries and awards by the Collector, reference to the Civil Courts and procedure thereon, apportionment of compensation, payment and appeals shall, as far as may be, be applicable to all proceedings under this section.
