Penalty for unauthorised marking.- If any person without lawful authority brands or causes to be branded any bull with any mark prescribed under this Act or with any mark resembling such prescribed mark, he shall be liable to imprisonment which may extend to three months or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or both.
