Act came into force from 9th July, 1971 vide Notification. No. 6-7/69 A.H. (Sectt.)-I), dated 8th July, 1971, published in the Rajpara, Himachal Pradesh (Extra-ordinary), dated 8th July, 1971, pp. 559. THE HIMACHAL PRADESH LIVESTOCK AND BIRDS DISEASES ACT, 1968 4 (a) delete any entry from the schedule, or (b) include in the schedule any communicable disease of livestock or birds to which it is expedient in their opinion that the provision of this Act should apply.
