Power to make rules.- (1) The State Government may, by notification published in the Official Gazette, make rules to carry out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provision, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:- (a) Specifications for lifts; (b) The manner in which erection plans of lifts shall be submitted; (c ) The manner in which the lifts may be tested; (d) The form of application for the erection of a lift or a license for working the same; (e) The terms and conditions subject to which and the form in which the licenses may be granted for the working of a lift under section 6; (f) The manner in which and the terms subject to which the lift shall work under section 6; (g) The manner in which notice of accidents shall be given and the form of such notice; (h) The form of notice to be given under section 7; and (i) Any other matter which is required to be or may be prescribed by the State Government. __________
