Inspectors.- (1) The Government may, by notification, appoint such persons or class of persons as it may think fit to be Inspectors for carrying out the purposes of this Act for such areas as may be specified in the notification. (2) Every Inspector shall be deemed to be a public servant with in the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
