Resignation.- Any member may at any time resign his office by a letter addressed to the chairman and such resignation shall take effect from the date on which it is accepted by the Council: Provided that the chairman may resign his office by a letter addressed to the Government and his resignation shall take effect from the date on which it is accepted by the Government.
