Definitions.- In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires ,- (a) ‘Form’ means a Form in the Schedule to this Act; (b) Government’ means the Government of Himachal Pradesh; (c) ‘Local authority’ means a municipal, small town or notified area committee, zila parishad, gram panchayat or other authority legally entitled to, or entrusted by the Government with, the control or management of a municipal or local fund; (d) ‘notification’ means notification published under proper authority in the official gazette; (e) ‘Official Gazette’ means the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh; and (f) ‘prescribed’ means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
