Superintendence and control of service.- (1) The superintendence and control of the service shall vest in the Director and shall be carried on by him in accordance with the provisions of this Act and rules made thereunder. (2) The State Government may appoint such officers as it may deem fit to assist the Director in the discharge of his duties.
