Penalty for maintaining private ferry within prohibited limits.- Whoever establishes, maintains or works a ferry in contravention of the provisions of section 13 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, and with a further fine which may extend to one hundred rupees for every day during which the ferry is maintained or worked in contravention of those provisions.
