Penalty for certain acts by licensee or his servant.- Whoever, being the holder of a licence, permit or pass granted under this Act or being in the employ of such holder or acting on his behalf- (a) allows disorderly conduct or gaming or prostitution on the licenced premises; or (b) fails wilfully to produce such license, permit or pass on demand of any Excise Officers; or (c) in any case not provided for in section 39, wilfully contravenes any rules made under sections 80 or 81; or (d) wilfully does or omits to do anything in breach of any of the conditions of the license, permit or pass not otherwise provided for in this Act; or (e) reduces the strength of any liquor below the prescribed limit; shall be punishable with fine which may extend to 1[one lakh rupees but shall not be less than fifteen thousand rupees.]
