Inspecting Officers to be public servants.- Every Inspecting Officer, appointed under section 6 of this Act, shall be deemed, while acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act, to be public servant within the meaning of section 21 of Indian Penal Code, 1860.
